RE:MEMBER is a visual narrative video game that focuses on the transitional growth of a young Filipino girl experiencing the day-to-day pressures of growing up while living with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is a classified DSM-5 diagnosis which is characterized by persistent, and unwanted intrusive thoughts (obsessions) that individuals would feel compelled to act specific “rituals” repetitively (compulsions) to neutralize the anxiety and emotional distress. Obsessional thoughts can include the fear of consequences to self or loved ones if rituals are not completed.
