Our Story

“I’m So OC!” – Sounds familiar?

This phrase has become a part of today’s popular culture by being the usual expression for perfectionism or neat freaks that even entertainment media such as TV shows, films, and games often use that carries on these misconceptions. However, how much do we truly know about Obsessive Compulsive Disorder beyond stereotypes? Since then, our team centered our thesis paper and advocacy campaign to open discussions about OCD and bring a localized and empathetic portrayal of OCD – particularly to our fellow Filipinos who are diagnosed with it – that shows their experiences with the disorder that are closer and relatable to our current cultural landscape.

Dulay

Game Developer, Storyboard Artist, Scriptwriter, Sound Effect Curator

Naomi Dulay leads the game development of RE:MEMBER with the task of bringing the story to life. With her eye for composition and passion for storytelling, she was the visual novel’s storyboard artist and one of the core scriptwriters. They were also one of the sound effect curators, adding to the player’s immersion in the world of RE:MEMBER.

Juliana Estocapio is a dynamic multimedia artist with a passion for storytelling through branding, illustration, and graphic design. As a co-leader in the development of the website and creative assistant in the artbook, she brought creative cohesion to RE:MEMBER’s multimedia platforms. She illustrated the game’s UI assets, carefully sourced sound effects, and played a pivotal role in shaping the project’s overall branding and social media presence. Her visionary approach ensures that RE:MEMBER’s story and message flow seamlessly across every creative touchpoint, resonating with authenticity and purpose.

Fernandez

Scriptwriter, Website Developer, Graphic Designer, Motion Graphics Designer, Video Editor, Coloring Artist, Co-Leader Social Media

With a knack for branding, motion graphics, and graphic design, Arbun Fernandez (or Aki, for short) demonstrated their skills in the different components of RE:MEMBER. They were one of the core scriptwriters and concept artists of the game and were one of the leaders in the website and artbook development. Lastly, they were also one of the main creatives who shaped RE:MEMBER’s overall branding and made several social media content, ensuring that the project’s story and message intertwines across the project’s chosen multimedia platforms.

Ferrer

Scriptwriter, Illustrator, Character and Background Design Artist, Concept Artist, Coloring Artist

Specializing in digital illustration and storytelling, Mavis Ferrer is one of the core scriptwriters for RE:MEMBER’s world-building and simultaneously the leading illustrator of the game’s character and background design. From concepts to rendered works, she contributed enriching visuals for RE:MEMBER’s narrative.

Pascual

Assistant Creative in Concept, Character, and Brand Design 

Reese Pascual played a support graphic role in the production of RE:MEMBER. She helped conceptualize character and logo design and assisted in rendering pieces on UI assets.
